Tasting notes
Bright, tart cherry leads the nose, quickly joined by a breeze of Mediterranean herbs—think rosemary and thyme—that nods to the vineyard’s sun‑baked slopes. Deeper swirls reveal darker fruit tones of blackberry and dried cranberries, plus a faint hint of cedar and dusty earth contributed by the amphora ageing.
Medium‑bodied (12 % alc) yet plush, the first sip delivers juicy red‑cherry and black‑plum flavors that glide across a velvety frame of fine tannins. As the wine opens, richer notes of stewed prune, a touch of cocoa powder and a savoury herbal echo unfurl, all propped up by lively acidity. The finish is long and gently warming, lingering with dark fruit, dried fig and a whisper of spice.
