Tasting notes
Fresh red‑berry tones of wild strawberry, Bing cherry and a hint of cranberry open the bouquet, then give way to subtle rose‑petal and dried‑leaf earthiness. Eight months in Hungarian oak add a gentle layer of vanilla, clove and sweet cedar that sits nicely beneath the fruit rather than overpowering it.
Silky and medium‑bodied, the first sip delivers juicy cherry‑raspberry flavours that glide across bright Rahovec‑valley acidity. Supple tannins provide soft structure, while the Hungarian oak seasoning contributes discreet notes of baking spice and toasted hazelnut. A faint forest‑floor echo and a touch of black‑tea leaf emerge on the finish, leaving the palate clean, balanced and ready for another pour.
